Yep agree with everyone's sentiments here - that was a shameful disgrace from those officials. I just don't get it.. Why and how on Earth this can happen in 2016 I cannot fathom. The Gold Coast deserve and need a competitive footy team. I don't know if the refs were just intimidated or what but I'll say one thing. The lot of them involved in that game should play zero further part in the finals and start referring B grade in 2017. If that doesn't occur then I just about give up and that breaks my heart as a footy fan for 40 years.
I said last night that Cows v Storm was streets ahead of us and they clearly are the best two sides.
I'd expect Cows to beat Donkeys up in Townsville.
And Raiders will be lost with Hodgson ( and real pity as they are entertaining to watch).
But still the Choccy Soldiers could do it, come on boys do it for Mick, probably the last ever opportunity he will have to see them in a GF!!

That was a major brain fade right there. I think all the Sharks defence was around the play the ball having just run down Wighton (??). Spin it either way and try time....but he goes himself and kills it stone dead. Dumbest play of the day.
I'd kill for a bit of this action at Manly
I noticed that Baptiste did this a lot in our game against the Raiders often to the detriment of the team.
Can play. Has talent. But looks for the line himself too often when he should be passing it out

With Cartwright at 5/8 they are. To me he's a bit like Gifty was for us, a back rower with the skills of a 5/8, but not one you would actually play in the halves. They're better off playing him as a ball playing back rower.
As a pivot he is too slow. Mbye made him look silly scoring that try.

Good on him. The ref had clearly called held yet Morris continued dragging him to the sideline.
