Fainu Bros sign with Tigers.

I would have Humphrey Baer in front of Woods.
Why and how he, along with a large majority of our other plonkers get a contract is beyond me....we HAVE to get Aloiai and Tuilagi off the books too, they are pure rubbish..get rid of Condon, Boyle, Woods, Tuilagi, Aloiai, Croker.

Move Schuster into the forwards (lock) and FFS move Jake back to prop.

Forwards going forward: Jake, Olakau'atu, Paseka, Schuster, but then we need some lean mean fighting machines like Liam Martin and Spencer Leniu - not these slow, lumbering 2010 type forwards.

I fear this one will come back and bite us and I also believe that both could play FG next year. If not then they will be ripe to go in 2025.
Let Wests have 5 minutes of feeling happy with the signings, and good luck to them.
No doubt they can both play but .. off field distractions? injuries? waning motivation? So much can happen. And if they go great next year will they seek upgrades?
If there was a poll on how long they'll remain at Tigers my guess is 3 years max (and yes I know they've signed 4 year deals!)

$4 mill for 4 years on potential..hmmm.. and in 2 years if the boys do well i bet my left test@# Tartak agitates for another $500k each..

seriously track record speaks for itself..
Watch the press around Fainus looking to leave the Tigers before their contracts are up just to push the Tigers for extensions on more $$$ before their contracts are even up.

after all they are A package deal..lmfao
Joke

Difficult situation with a lot of questions and layers to it.

If the club did in fact want to keep them, would they have remained at Manly on their current salaries if other clubs are happy to offer $500k each?

When will the two brother be $500k players? Neither will be at that point in their careers in 2024, their output may edge closer to that in 2025.

Who would you prefer - Luke Brooks at $650k or Latu at $500k?
Brooks all day a proven first grade

And in 2025 their manager will be agitating for a further $$ increase or he's taking the boys somewhere else

Watch this space

When Samuel plays another 10 first grade games and Latu actually plays first grade Tartek will be demanding $1m for each of them

Good luck tigers for getting into bed heavily with tartek
I can't believe the press isn't all over this .. what ever happend to real investigative journalism..

Blind Freddy can see a pattern here with the whole Fulton/ Tartak crap and what they did at Manly with these and many other "promising" juniors from the western suburbs..

Journos reading this here is a tip
....

Without prejudice... as this is only my opinion..

How hard would it be for a talent scout and a player manager to get together and pick up a couple of talented 12 year old

Then pump up their talent ..spruking how great these potential NRL superstar are

Using smart media coverage (friendlies) and socials that makes the players look like future world beaters, having inside people within a club push for the club to retain these juniors on future potential and on decent contracts

All along just building false hype to build the players contact values that may actually never amount to real NRL talents..
( a bit like hyping stocks.. and getting people into FOMO mode)

Lots of easy money being pocketed...

And seriously then look at most if not all of those future stars, they leave get new contracts for more hyped up $$ and can't even crack bottom feeder club team sheets or reggies..hmmmm

Facts are out there.

Sounds like the plot for The Wolf of Wall Street which was based on a true story of Jordan Belfort and the pumping up of near worthless stocks in high-pressure 'Boiler Rooms', then selling them when their price had soared.
We could set it against a rugby league background, call it Catching a tiger by the tail, and I reckon we'd have a hit movie.

This is absolutely what Tartak & Fulton have done.

Every single one of the 10 players he had here were spruiked as absolute guns.

What happened:

Suli wasn’t but they fooled the Bulldogs into signing him on a huge contract.

The 4 who have left are either incarcerated or have yet to play FG at Saints (16th) & Tigers (17th).

The 2 latest departures have played 0 & 5 NRL games each.

The ones we’ve kept have had their issues (Saab, Schuster & Olakau’atu) re: consistency.

Tartak & Fulton are doing exactly as you described in hyping shares up to create demand for them.

An absolute swindle.

What about Karl Filiga supposedly the next SBW?

After collecting 2 wooden spoons the tigers would pay $4m for two dog turds

It's also a business model for online sales fraud, including here in NSW. Start trading some small cheap item at a good price and generate plenty of positive ratings. Then suddenly advertise a bigger item, say a tablet, for a good price, your site is highly rated, so you get flooded with orders, pocket the money - but none of the items are ever delivered.
Buyer beware folks!

Bye guys.
Thanks for being Sea Eagles in your teens.
We need men now, so off to the Tigers.
Go Manly!
Hello Nicci . Hope you have been well
Your Manly prayers have been answered

Somethings not right. We threw big money at Brooks while Laurie was in NSW Cup. Laurie comes out last night and plays better than I have ever seen Brooks play in the halves. I don't get why we didn't go after Laurie.

Laurie astutely signs with Penrith. Watch him light it up there.
