Saw the game this morning and whilst Trent is obviously getting carried away with the emotion it was a better performance than what they have served up so far.
Napa and Waddell(playing at lock which limits his lack of athleticism) played better games than I have seen and Thompson was also strong up the middle.
Averillo is taking more responsibility off Klanagan(a bit like Foran with DCE) and gives them another option.Meaney does a better job than any of their options at fullback and Cotric played a good game.
In saying that they are still Bog average....they lack talent and depth .

This guy is seriously a legend in his own mind... So glad we saw the back of him and his mediocre attitude..I honestly thought he was something special as I admired him as a player and with all the media beat up about the next super coach I was over the moon when we signed him.. BUT what a dissapointment that was and Ive shown some interest in what he's doing now with the Dogs as I really did want to see if "we " got it wrong but boy did "we" as a club get it right.
This guy will never be a winner, he's so full of excuses its laughable, over 8 minutes of dribble in a presser, most coaches are in and out in lest than 4.... anyone that can read basic body language and look past the spoken word for its true meaning will hear that he actually doubts himself and the team, hes prepared to run last and receive the spoon.. He trys so hard to pump up the "terrific football side" that the Sharks are and "what a great win... LMFAO... The Sharks were woeful, He sounds like a coach with no idea where his next win is coming from as he really has no plan but he tries so hard to make out that he is in control and has direction..ZERO direction in my opinion.
He basically concedes that they may not win to many more games as he's in it for the "long run" playing the long game.. ALREADY he's positioning to protect his job.
he will eventually start throwing players under the bus as the pressure builds, You will hear all about "NEXT YEAR" when Matty gets here and we get a few others over and how good next year will be.
Ive never liked the Bulldogs but I actually feel sorry for them with him at the helm.
Hope they have proper office furniture and fresh Gatorade around as that may be another excuse to fuel the reason for failure. At least his players don't need to change in the carpark.
Dugan also made a very half arsed attempt at catching the ball for the Dogs' second try.
The odds of a Dogs victory were $6.50. That's all I'm saying...

He is more of a superfriend than a supercoach. He seems to be mates with every player in the NRL and always refers to them by their nickname when talking to the media. He is a drinking buddy, not a head coaches arsehole.
Got to say don't really rate this Naden signing....for the Dogs that is
Naden, Cotric, Flanagan, Allen, Hethrington.....all talented players in the right system but dont see how they fit together.
I dont see a strategy in their recruitment, more just get who you can get.
Even Addo-Carr who is a great player, I dont see as a game changer in a struggling team with a big price.
Burton to be fair could be fantastic.
They need to hold everything now and focus on a hooker

Canterbury has failed in an attempt to sign boxer and ex-Roosters star Willis Meehan.
The 25-year-old was once rated the most promising young forward in the game but left the Roosters in 2015 while he was dealing with a number of off field issues.
The then 19-year-old was stood down by the club after he was charged with headbutting a man and stealing his watch near The Star casino. He was sentenced to 150 hours of community service.

Meehan made a boxing comeback in March after a two-year absence and knocked out his opponent in one round. He also troubled Paul Gallen in a spa before his fight with Lucas Browne.
The heavyweight was keen to have another crack at the NRL. He is a much-improved person these days, according to good sources.
Bulldogs recruitment boss Peter Sharp contacted the NRL but was told Meehan would need a clearance from the integrity unit.
