He must have a brilliant PR team! How he got the credit for the Penrith attack has got me stumped. He leaves Penrith and they keep on attacking brilliantly. He goes to the Dogs resulting in little or no improvement in there attack notwithstanding recruitment.

In a 4 year stretch from 2013-2016, the Panthers U/20's were - 1st, 9th, 1st, 2nd. Guess which year Barrett was their coach.

Yes, but it was the greatest year in many of those young men's lives.

Glad you're beginning to see the depth that exists just beyond T. Baz's blinding, shimmering physical beauty. He is the Yin and Yang for our troubled times. Once you grasp that wins and losses are but two sides of the same coin, tranquillity - dare I say, "Bazquillity" - is but a single step away. That step is signing with the Bulldogs for next season, and the seasons of your life beyond.

This is the team that Trent inspired to 2nd last avoiding the spoon in his solo head coach in 2018. The year he fell out with bozo and did it all on his own.
He quit because he did not have the resources that he was promised but the fact is he did not make the most of the greatest resources in the competitive team that he had.
Now at the dogs he has the best of the best of resources and he had money to spend to strengthen his team that the previous coach did not have the luxury and the results are 6 games and 6 loses. The myth of Trent being a great attacking coach exploited when his team was scoreless in 3 games .
The moral of the story
Trent is a very popular guy with players and the media and he had a great ride to getting a Head coach job but his ride is running out of gas because as usual he is running out of excuses and running out of results on the field where it matters

The reality is that Trent Barrett is one of those people who is not suited to be a head coach. Clubs would be much better off using him as either an assistant coach, specialist halves coach or as a talent scout in the same way Crusher Cleal was.
But a head coach at NRL level he is not. We found that out through experience and its now something the Dogs are starting to find out.
I do think the Dogs will snag a win or two this year (hopefully not against us), but I really don't see how even the likes of Burton and Addo-Carr will change them next year. JAC wants to play fullback for them, but I would give it about a month before he is back where he belongs on the wing.
