Daejarn Asi is filling in for Brown today definitely has some skill but is a bit erratic and playing his first game this year. Jordan Rankin is playing 7 for Parras NSW Cup side.

His attack is great, but Reynolds defence on Saturday was exposed a number of times in one on one situations. And that was against the Knights, which is hardly what the Maroons will throw at him.

Hynes was too ordinary yesterday to pick him as starting #7, which as you say leaves Moses. There really isn't anyone else unless they do the unthinkably dumb and pick someone out of position like Matt Burton.

Yup, Qld will pick the best player they have for a specific position;

NSW will pick a collection of good players and throw 'some of them' in position and hope the others can play 'where-ever'.

Honestly we should be winning this one and the only real concern for us will be how Weekes does. Ideally he’d play out the season at fullback for Blacktown but with Garrick in the centres he’s our only real option there. He’s got the talent but he really needs to involve himself more because he was invisible in the Titans and Knights games
