The Gold Coast Titans have reportedly signed English international hooker Daryl Clark from 2022 onwards, per multiple UK media outlets. _ There’s plenty of speculation in the UK overnight that Daryl Clark has signed with the Titans, however at this stage, no official report has come from Warrington or the Titans. Clark, 28, is considered one of the best hookers in the Super League and has played 272 games since making his debut in 2011. He’s also played 10 international games for England & Great Britain, mostly off the bench stuck behind Josh Hodgson. This could prove a very pivotal signing for the Titans. With Erin Clark extended earlier this year and Mitch Rein still unsigned from 2022 onwards, unfortunately this could spell an end to his time at the club. Whilst it would be unfortunate for the Titans to lose Mitch Rein, Daryl Clark looms as the final piece in their spine rebuild. _ He’s won the Man of Steel medal, which is the Super League’s Dally-M Medal equivalent. He’s played in four Challenge Cup’s & won the Lance Todd Trophy (Clive Churchill equivalent). He’s also played in two two grand finals.
