Revealed: the two Dragons players that won’t sign sworn statement​

St George Illawarra’s Zac Lomax and Daniel Alvaro are the two Dragons players who have indicated they won’t sign the NRL’s sworn statement regarding the events that unfolded at Paul Vaughan’s house party more than a week ago.

Sources with knowledge of the matter told the Herald that Alvaro and Lomax have sought legal advice, urging the pair not to sign unless they believe what they are signing is a true reflection of the night.

The NRL originally indicated that the players would not be allowed back to training within 14 days unless all had signed the statement that had been reworked in consultation with the RLPA over the weekend.

The NRL is now considering changing its stance to allow the 10 players to return to training on Monday.

Copy of the stat dec is attached. Very loosely worded imo. Seems like the NRL are complicit in this fraud. The fact that the original stat dec had to be revised for all the players to sign is very fishy. The fact that 2 players still don't want to sign basically calling out the other 9 as story tellers. They all should be banned from the bubble.
