I am sure he will fade too...but thats not the point.
Pete murrays music is always going to sound similar by nature, it is quiet and slow blues.
Coldplay are rock. I like them dont get me wrong but there is nothing new about it, it seems more of an extension of rush of blood than an independant release. There is nothing on there that i couldnt get from listening to RBTH. By the way Clocks is my ring tone!
pfffffffffffft putting cold play in the same sentence as those other three is one of the greatest jokes I've seen on this website.
I've stayed out of it but they're a sappy, pathetic bunch of mimmicking try hards who would have already dissapeared without trace if the lead singer hadn't managed to con Paltrow into marrying him and then calling their daughter a stupid name.
Pete Murray is too earnest to be enjoyed by a manic like me Dan.
John Sattler wanted Murray to trial with the Gold Coast back in the early 90's.
Sadly he hasn't released anything since 1994. I still maintain "Meltdown" is one of the most brilliant songs written - for the layers of sarcasm in it![quote author=Fro]
