Different coach at Manly next season?

I read a rumour recently re Neil Henry. So replace a bloke who could improve by a bloke that is mediocre. Yeah that’s par for the course.

Had a talk with a Manly supporting mate within the hour who said he'd heard exactly that.
I thought he was dudded a bit by the tits
But he's been around a while with limited success

So its a swap is it?

Riff gets TB and Manly get Griffin.
Not sure if he was inferring that or not.
He was concise to say the least.
Judging by the opinions of him on here maybe he was concise because he really knows nothing.

Again, Gould squashed that rumour completely guys. He said it was ridiculous, and that they aren't interested in Trent.

Our club have said he's contracted here.

What more proof does everyone need?

For reference, Gould also said Matt Moylan was staying at the Panthers, and guess what. He was gone 3 days later.

Gus Gould is not the beacon of truth you think he is.

He also said Lewis Brown would be a good buy...

Barrett basically brought API Koroisou, and Lewis Brown with him, and Cartwright brought Nate Myles, Brian Kelly and Dan Ferris.

Api Koroisou and Brian Kelly are great. The rest...well, they probably all need some improvement.

Would you buy a use car from Phil Gould?

Seriously, of course he is going to deny it. His side is fighting for a place in the top 8 (not helped by tonight's thrashing in Brisbane). The last thing he is going to do during the season is effectively give Hook the "full support of the board" treatment.

I don't understand the hate for Twenty.
The blame for the club no longer being contenders lies in the administration who:
* sided with FOURan over DCE then paid DCE a ridiculous amount to return when FOURan joined Doesn'tmatta
* sacked Tooves when he was our best option as coach
* signed up CocoJoy as a sponsor and probably didn't even get a coconut drink out of them
* recruited Mr Plod for three years, and are still paying for him in retirement
* recruited John Cartwright, a proven loser
* sacked Seebold who has proven to be a winner

I don't hate Twenty and he sure is nice on the eye. However, with the roster we have and seeing the way our big three performed in origin I would expect us to be a lot higher on the ladder.

Seems Trent is a nice guy but we don't need a nice guy right now. We have a culture where the players got rid of a club legend then we get a nice guy coach who all the players adore and we are 13th. We need a tough bastard who they don't want to upset and who they know will guide them to the top provided they do what they're told.
