we are missing 4 out of 5 attacking options in Walker, Manise, Moses and Turbo. I ain’t no expert but that does make it easier to defend against when you know where all the play is coming from

Mate every team knows where the attack is coming from. Its upto the players to adapt. Walker and turbos form has masked to most of you how bad dce actually has been. Now no one to hide behind he has been exposed. Been saying all year walker has outplayed him. Walker is excellent at running set plays and he actually runs the ball. We have two beasts laying the platform but dce cant create anything

I'd drop Gosi for Sipley as well and start blooding Hopoate and Schuster as fullback alternatives.

But sipley is a prop jetski is a 2nd rower.. we need waddell back he made an impact. Jetski needs more time in lower grades to build confidence and mass.
Pillowseka needs to be dropped for boyle. Boyle has been great every time he's played this year paseka has been average at best.
Agree we need to blood hoppa and Schuster

DCE needs to watch his 2011 season highlights he use to always Run the ball and take on the line while also getting repeat sets !!
In 2020 it’s like his scared to get hit if he doesn’t lift manly won’t even make the top 8

Whilst I agree in regards to those players out having a big impact today,they’ve struggled for points all season with those guys in the side,obviously not Fainu.Fainu is the biggest missing piece.Levi is not up to it and no matter what anyone says,if Newcastle are letting you go,you are struggling

It’s never changed he needs all the links to perform he not a million dollar player. Can he nail a field goal yes that is it.

You may not have realised, there are no lower grades being played this thing called covid has caused some issues in the world.
That is the biggest problem as nobody outside of 1st grade is getting any game fitness

Even when all our stars are in all that Cherry does is hand the ball to forwards running predictable inside lines. What we expect from a million dollar half back is involvement and creativity.

Tell him he is hurting his brand when he turns in games like that, maybe that will get through to him.

Perhaps Des has got it all wrong. We should give it to DCE to kick a field goal on every 5th tackle option. We could score 40+ points just in field goals and dominate teams

even the games we won he was poor 80% of the game but maybe 1 or 2 highlight moments fooled the casual observer into thinking he was playing well

I agree he ran the ball more but in the same highlights packages he had a top shelf 5/8, arguably the best centre pairing of the modern era, behind one of our best ever packs and a freak better than turbo lurking behind all that... holes everywhere in the defence for him to run. Hasn't got those options and easy to shut him down when there is zero attacking threats coming from elsewhere.

this type of thread gets so old. DCE wasn't the fault we lost. They let in 40 poiunts! The defence was horrible. Some of the effects on our own line were pathetic. we still scored 4 tries, we let in too many soft tries

Ever since he done his ankle he stopped running as much now he is like jamie soward never ever takes on the line. I swear croker ran more this game then dce all season. We wont make the 8 if he keeps this up

exactly and re runs to the line a lot. that's a myth he doesn't run to the line. When he does get tackled, then who else takes charge - they have no one!

his 5th tackle kicks are the real big drop in performance, surely he has been coached to run it on the 5th, it happens every game, same with Walker

the Score line would not have been the same if DCE was playing well.....poor game management and shocking kicking game
That is his job.

dce isnt the fault we lost but maybe a few sharks line drop outs, Or some hard running or even appearing interested could have changed the game a little

watch the replays, re runs to the line, probably doesn't want to get caught tackled though as there is no one else to steer the ship. crocker is so ineffective at running is laughable.

you can only run to the line if you are on the front front and someone gives you a nice ball out in front.

what do you want him do do, get a slow ball from crocker or levi and just run into the line and get smashed. no idea!
