If he gets more than 2 weeks you'd have to think that he's played his last NRL game for the Sea Eagles.

Phil Rothfield in today's tele:
The judiciary and match review committee have been under fire in recent weeks for a total over reaction in the Travis Burns case. Surely Manly forward Darcy Lussick will escape punishment from his tackle in the Cowboys game, which hardly even connected. I hate foul play but the game needs its enforcers and big hits.

Not sure I agree. It didn't look good IMO. In contrast, how awesome was Steve Matai's hit on Glenn Hall?

Here's hoping Vic gets his spot. Less impact on hits up but much safer in defence and disciplined forward.

Rothfield is an idiot. So is Darcy Lussick after that rubbish on Saturday night. If that had happened to us I'd expect no less than a 4 week suspension.

Having said that I hope Rothfield is correct although I don't think we lose too much by any suspension to Lussick.

As for Matai's hit on Hall - I love Matai! Awesome. Hopefully his injury isn't too serious as we need him on the field.

#NRL Charges: Lussick 2-3 weeks (striking), Sam Burgess 0-1 week (careless high tackle), Colin best 0 (tripping) story: http://t.co/cyJOZobI

I have to agree with the charges levelled at both. Sam can count his blessings. He probably deserved a week
