I had an uncle who was a Professor of Maths at TCD. He could prove without doubt that 1+1=3. He was considered an expert in both pure and applied mathematics but didn't know basic addition...Are experts on experts doubly overrated?

Put the Knights thrashing down to the coaching team. Our game plan didn't just take advantage of two back rowers playing centre for the knights. Our game plan and executed play just tore em to shreds.
I know right. And some of that Anti Seibold crew even claim to be Manly supporters. There is an oxymoron there.Be careful. It’s dangerous giving seibs credit around here. 🤫

Fixed for you, DH.I know right. And some of that Anti Seibold crew even claim to be Manly supporters. The oxymaroon.
It's a black and white world for most. Siebs is either fantastic or terrible, nothing in-between. The reality is probably just that - in-between.I know right. And some of that Anti Seibold crew even claim to be Manly supporters. The oxymoron.

not at all. there was a game plan and it worked well yesterday so credit to those in charge. We just need to do it more often.Be careful. It’s dangerous giving seibs credit around here. 🤫
Would Trent Robinson be in the top 4 if he didn’t have money bags at Easts?I thought earlier this season Seibold had done enough to get an extension for another two seasons.
Looking at where he would sit amongst other coaches is a decent guideline.
1. Ivan Cleary
2. Craig Bellamy
3. Wayne Bennett
4. Trent Robinson
The above 4 coaches have had decent performances and all won premierships coaching.
5. The below coaches I consider on equal footing, Ciraldo, Webster, Fitzgibbon, Flanagan, Seibold.
6. The next bunch, Stuart, Hasler, Walters, Payton.
7. The remaining, Obrien, Marshall, Barrett and Hornby.
It’s subject to individual opinion, from the above there are only four coaches above him and none on the market that would be above him.
He has very good communication skills and has held the playing group together, the consistency is building and he has done a decent job with bringing in younger inexperienced players.
Give him another two seasons (2027) and see what he can do.
Think you've sold Des a bit short there, if you're judging off his entire body of work. If your judging off recent performance only Des has more recent success than Bennett does (Although what Wayne has done with the Phins in the last 2 is very impressive).I thought earlier this season Seibold had done enough to get an extension for another two seasons.

I'm of the same view with Bennett.Would Trent Robinson be in the top 4 if he didn’t have money bags at Easts?
