Don't overlook that there were no hail Mary plays which often cost points let alone getting them.

Think you've sold Des a bit short there, if you're judging off his entire body of work. If your judging off recent performance only Des has more recent success than Bennett does (Although what Wayne has done with the Phins in the last 2 is very impressive).
Maybe, if it was Des in the first half of his career definitely would have it wrong, the second half I sit comfortably with.

Des was lucky the Titans threw him a gig, his stint at the Dogs ended poorly along with his second stint at Manly, it’s subjective of course.

Maybe not but those are the variables they get judged on, many things can go wrong with injuries, suspensions, sinbins and the refeering decisions.
Well Ricky Stuart hasn’t done much since leaving Easts! You could put him in the same category as Robinson then.

Just sayin’

In the immortal AI-induced words of Anthony Watmough:

Credit to the coach. Full credit to the boys.
I reckon NRL coaches would universally be very happy with full credit going to the players always.

Have your credit, but be accountable too.

If we miss finals this year, the discussion should be should we sack Guac who was MIA when we needed him most not the coach.

Choc's right. Full accountability to the players too.

5th place for a guy who can't coach and was without Turbo for a big chunk is quite the achievement
To some , regardless , he’ll always be “ Seidud”.

This is almost the team he built , remember Brooks , Talau , Simpkins are all his work.

I didn’t look at last year , that the team he inherited , this year is more important , if we play finals that’ll be a terrific improvement.
