Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

I think ( and @susan mentioned this as well last night ) that there’s been a distinct difference in the game plan the last 3 games, very much playing to what little strengths we have.

I’ve always believed it’s never all to do with the coach ( win or loss ) there’s a complete football department that makes decisions , works on game plans and make the final selections.

So I’m not going to credit the coach , he’s just the front man , it’s a team ( players and staff ) effort.
At time we have overplayed going to Hamole. He still creates damage but can be neutralised by opponents. Without him there we are able to vary attack/game plans. Just need to work out a way when he comes back

Not sure exactly who, or how many of our juniors have pushed for NRL selection over the past few seasons. I can't immediately think of any

Maybe @Smokin Joe could give a better-informed opinion of any that have put their hands up but have been ignored by Seibold.

I don't think there's too many, if any.

I could make a case for Navale getting some more 1st grade time.
Humphries is another who could have had more opportunity as well.

My point is more about our owners expectations and our Head Coach not having as much luxury as Ricky, Bellamy, etc.

And no-one can say that we are not investing in future youth, with the signings so far this season....Walsh, Larges, etc.

That's a great point and yes we do go to Haumole too much and often too flat. Haumole needs to be used less and deeper in attack.

Good Lord, the Negative Nellies sure are a miserable bunch 😂

From what I can make out, they require a convincing win every game & a grand final win before they’ll be happy.

It’s obvious these people have never been exposed to any form of hardship whatsoever - perhaps their parents never said “no” to them & so they never learned how to deal with adversity, & finding someone to blame is their only way of handling it?

I truly pity the bunch of misery guts, I reckon if they found $20 on the ground they’d complain it wasn’t a $50 😂😂😂

In Melbourne, we've won:
1 from 6 at Olympic Park, in 2009
1 from 2 at Docklands, in 2010
4 from 11 at AAMI Park, in 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2025

19 games, 6 wins, 1 draw, 12 losses

Decent record, compared to many teams (and better than several grounds for us).
