Coach Seibold thoughts so far.... so good

Because you have more time to read every thread, does not mean those who don't are disrespect....but now you mention it, I pointed out the "7 minute Seibold chat" which was not repeating anything and 7 other Silvertails liked or appreciated this as something "new", so you obviously didn't read my post....pretty weird right ??

I know that mate, but in this case I knew there was a Seibold coach thread "or 8", but felt this was a differing view not about his coaching, more a key point between "the players " and Seibold that was now decsending into Mestrovs involvement also....pretty major differences imo
I think I done a post about Hoppa and thrrr were 6 after that. But I didn't break out the tissues as felt they also may have a different angle
I hope the long explanation makes some sense - just for you mate, cause I also like your stuff so we are all good 😅

I would say that his extended contract would have a performance clause in it, if it doesn't then I would say that our management would be the dumbest around, surely our management can't be that stupid,surely.

Without ‘performance’ would have thought the clause legally is null and void

I think it turned out to be a good idea putting turbo at centre. That 2nd half was the best he has played in a while, the try assist on half time did so much for him. Of course the heat is still on massively but I’ll give credit for sticking it out after Hoppa’s poor first 40

We win well and the ladder leading Raiders nearly got done by Newcastle in a very similar fashion to how we lost up there. Just goes to show how close this comp can be.

Tonight's win was the equivalent of a dead cat bounce for Siebold. I haven't been a big critic of him however, I'm not so sure anymore.

It was the perfect win for the Seibold non believers,like me.An absolutely putrid game,very poor opposition who had multiple key players out (more critical than who Manly had absent),same sideways play,a 9 minute 3 try burst that didn’t prove anything and the 2 points to creep them a bit further away from the spoon.Bring on another win like that against Souths

Im certainly not sold on Seibold but in the spirit of fairness it could be argued that we were missing our two starting frontrowers, our star backrower, our starting hooker and our captain could have been playing in a dinner jacket. Granted it was an ugly win but a win nevertheless.

Tigers had more important players out and having Croker out is a positive for Manly.And it was the Tigers,after all

Personally, I think he's probably a really nice bloke, but I don't like him as our coach because he's too mentally stable. We need some kind of imbalanced nut like Bellamy, Ricky or Des in his prime. Swearing and having a sideways frozen mouth, gum chewing and acting like a ten year old on the sidelines, ripping doors off hinges, imo, mindset of premiership coaches. Toovey blowing a gasket for his team.
But then, the spanner in the works is Cleary, totally in control and measured. Four titles in a row..
Either Cleary or a basket case, not Siebs.

I'm just stunned that he thinks he is entitled to be involved in a succession plan wtf? This is not a great of our club he should be thankful he got an extension and concentrate on coaching and let others worry about our next coach.
The minute he put a date on his planned coaching exit we should have said thanks for your service bye.

I’m not 100% sure he specifically said he wants that role at Manly,but I agree,if he did,he should of been moved on.And let’s say he did say that,what about the person that’s currently in that position or does that position even exist at Manly and Seibold and his slimy manager are just creating a job for him

Soup, I’m surprised you’re here after a win, usually you are in hibernation. Lodge did well to open the game. Waddell, well we can all agree he isn’t 1st grade standard in the back row. To sack a coach after a win is ridiculous, at least wait until we lose mate & most will agree lol
