I am happy to answer your question feathered friendAnd who do you suggest?
BA for Seibold straight away is the answer. Now the bears overlooked him, its the perfect opportunity. We should be pushing top 4, not 9th. This is the perfect year for an ambush, and we've stuffed it up.Apart from the obvious issue with our club being the Penn's, our other biggest problem is our defence. You look at all the teams that win the comp every year and it's their defence. Ciraldo has his dogs ticking along because he's a defence mentality first coach. I think it's time for Dymock to be moved on and get Brad Arthur back. The last time we were the real deal Manly was 2013 with Tooves and BA. I also think BA could be good for Seibold, one having a footy brain, the other a science/strategy mind. Plus if Seibold gets hooked, BA can step up.

Bozo like you I love my Sea Eagles and have for a very very long time. I love your loyalty and passion but getting rid of Seibold now I think is not the answer. He clearly needs some help from his assistants and Dymock for one is not helping. Some of the recruiting has been poor and yet at the same time, when this team is on they can beat anyone with some great attacking plays. The money freed by DCE going, and the recruitment of Fogarty with some spare change may help. At this stage paying out another coach is not the answer. I'm prepared to give him another season with Fogarty leading the team around and hopefully with a couple of good forwards pushing for a spot or two. There's not too many good coaches available now and capable of turning this team around, which is why I suggested maybe BA coming in and assisting like he did with Toovey.I am happy to answer your question feathered friend
I am not a professional recruiter
I am an armature clown
I strongly suggest you ask the So called Pros at Manly who are getting paid to do their job successfully find winners for our club so our club can become a Wining club again
The Pros at Manly who are getting paid to get the job done are accountable and responsible
and Not Bozo the Passionate Loving Manly clown like me who invests in our club through membership , merchandize and attending match days when I can
Ordinary for a decade is what we do around here! BA would fit right in.I really don't get the love for BA. He took the Eels to one GF but other than that his record is pretty ordinary for a decade in charge.
Brad Arthur should never be allowed anywhere near the joint again.Apart from the obvious issue with our club being the Penn's, our other biggest problem is our defence. Mate I get really emotional when Passionate Manly people openly express their love and loyalty forBozo like you I love my Sea Eagles and have for a very very long time. I get you don't agree with BA coming in, but the Dymock style defence is not working. I was merely suggesting a change and thought he'd be the best option as opposed to getting another coach in and starting all over again. I also get he tried taking players with him when he left, but isn't that what most do if they get a gig elsewhere?Brad Arthur should never be allowed anywhere near the joint again.
Don't get me wrong Bozo I agree with you wholeheartedly and would love nothing more than to have a Manly great take over and coach this team absolutely... Problem is who is ready, qualified and capable right at this minute?Mate I get really emotional when Passionate Manly people openly express their love and loyalty for
our Legendary club. I felt your love for Manly with every word I read .
In your moving and passionate post of yours I see that we agree on the core of the things you say
The one thing that i see we differ is that we both see Seibold in a different way
You see Seibold as the next Mentor to Make Manly Magnificent again and I do not see this in Seibold .
I have seen Manly Greats do Great things for Manly
Seibold is not one of them
We both have our views .
I can not convince you and you can not convince me
But so far I am Super convinced that Seibolds contract extension will only extend our decade of Premiership winning decline .
If we have qualified and capable recruiters at Manly they could find the next Great Manly MentorDon't get me wrong Bozo I agree with you wholeheartedly and would love nothing more than to have a Manly great take over and coach this team absolutely... Great recruiters wouldn't work for a owner who doesn't seem to careIf we have qualified and capable recruiters at Manly they could find the next Great Manly Mentor
They will search far and wide .
Great recruiters have a Great eye for talent
Great recruiters do not spend all day chatting on forums like we do
Great recruiters get off their arse and unearth Great Talent
There are Great prospects out there waiting to be discovered
