Probably a lot more in Italy. It just strikes me as unusual that there are not more ciraldos out there

Can't help thinking some fans don't rate him simply because he doesn't look like he's about to punch a wall (or a player) the way a proper macho real Aussie male would do (or so they think).I think Seiblod is underrated as a coach, he is a former player, an academic, clear communicator and a leader.
For me what I have seen from Seibold he is a strategic visionary who emphasises both performance and player well-being.
With the complexity of the game and the high stakes involved, Seibold is not just a tactician but also a skilled leader who can inspire and manage a diverse team of footballers and coaching staff.
His leadership style is adaptable, allowing him to tailor his approach to meet the individual needs of players while maintaining the overall cohesion and culture of the team.
Supporting Seibold is a robust staff of over 20 specialists, each contributing to the team's success. This team typically includes assistant coaches with expertise in specific areas such as defense, attack, and skills coaching etc.
This extensive support network allows Seibold to focus on strategic planning and leadership, ensuring that every aspect of player development and team performance is optimized for success.
He hasn’t had the success of the best performed coaches in Bellamy, Cleary or Bennett but I have seen enough to have some confidence it will happen with the progress he has been part of since taking the head coaching position.
By the way Seibold has had more success in his first 5 years coaching NRL than Cleary had*He hasn’t had the success of the best performed coaches in Bellamy, Cleary or Bennett
At the of the day all our qualifications count for nothing if we do not start over achieving .I think Seiblod is underrated as a coach, he is a former player, an academic, clear communicator and a leader.

Others it seems don't rate him because he failed at the Broncos. The old 'once you've lost you can never come back' theory. (I suspect that particular theory was disproved sometime back in the earliest days of homo sapiens existence on planet earth, but hey you don't need to know history to be a footy fan!)
True @BOZO, though he has had progressive results each year he has been with the club.At the of the day all our qualifications count for nothing if we do not start over achieving .
The overachievers are never underrated
Just my perspective point of view feathered friendTrue @BOZO, though he has had progressive results each year he has been with the club.
He has spoken open and honestly of his past and communication from the club has been better since he joined.
The Manly Winning Way is Never say NeverManly are never getting any of those coaches to defect to us , so wax lyrical all you like but Seibold is no worse and in fact a good deal better than the rest of the ones not listed above.
You are right , but by gee there’s loads that expect instant success and blame him if that doesn’t happen.Realistically Siebold is 5 years away from showing what he can do.
Once Walsh, Large et al are making First Grade, and the remnant of the dead wood from the Barrett/Hasler era is fully cleared out, we will see how good a coach he really is.
All he has been able to do so far is make iterative improvements to a highly dysfunctional system.
Yeh the cap looks very tight for the next two seasons from listening to Mestrov today.Realistically Siebold is 5 years away from showing what he can do.

, but Rome wasn’t built overnight.
There is not other more Inspirational way to start our day with High ExpectationsSeibold's position was in the balance towards to later part of last season. I consider that with the roster we had we actually underachieved last year losing games against sides like the Tigers and hemorrhaged far too many points in the last three games of the season. We should have finished in the top four but fell flat at the later part of the season. I expect that if our defence doesn't improve and we keep losing games we should win it will be goodbye Seibold. He did just enough to survive in 2024. I support the decision to give him another season however I'd would have only extended him for one year with a option in our favour for the second.
Did you write a book?As my dad used to say - "Only because I wasn't the foreman."
