It’s sad. Why do we even bother holding this NRL licence if we don’t have a vision to to be the best? I have zero desire to follow a team that has accepted mediocrity in order to keep their licence.

If Manly is currently the least profitable of all the NRL franchises, you do have to wonder how long a team playing out of Brookvale or based at Manly holds that licence.

C’mon, as much as I love to bash the Storm as the next person… they are not cheating the cap like the past debacle. Look at the no-names they bring in when key players are out. They lift and play a role. Their systems, and ability to get everybody playing to them, are outstanding.

As for bank-rolling… yes, we need one of those. Peanuts Penn is taking us nowhere in a hurry.

Not sure why Manly would agree to that unless both clubs share the ticket and corporate sales or alternate who the home team is each season.
