He reminds me a lot of Eastwood. He has that unathletic athleticism. I see him as a second rower.
Jake is Taylor made for lock but only since the role changed. I love him and he is my favourite current player but fear for what might have happened to him had the interchange not been reduced and 13 become a position for a slightly more skilful front rower, rather than a wider running BK Trent Waterhouse Ashley Harrison type.
Jake is so strong he would have made a good fist of prop - his post contact metres are exceptional- but he isn't 6'5" and 125 kg. And may not have been a rep player rather than a solid club man had the game changed tactic wise to make him pretty much the perfect prototype lock forward for this day and age.
