CHN

Ben Trbojevic will be ready in 2 or 3 years, just have to wait. That kid is a special talent.

Given his brothers you would think so.

Right now though he is a kid playing against kids, looks like a small version of Tom. Many years of growing will change things but you never really know.

I thought corey would be a sea eagle in 2018 for sure with the surplus of panthers players signed and manlys big offer. He is a gun so its disappointing. I really like the look of adam elliot from bulldogs looks like he could be another josh jackson and he is off contract and with the bulldogs under cap pressure we should target him and big nelson from storm to play prop

I also think Elliot looks the goods but statistically speaking he is behind CHN in every department this year...so it's hard not to still feel disappointed even if we did get Elliot.

I just thought CHN was the perfect type of player...we have really good props who bend the line, a hard worker in Jake T and a ball playing/off loading backrower in Curtis...the one thing we lack is a really good hole runner on the edges.

I am Jorge's biggest fan but I hope I never live to see the day when he needs to make important defensive decisions on our edge.
Im not saying he is ready now. Or that it would come easy. But he has been outside some decent centres and always defended admirably. Realistically he understands the structure and with some help could adapt. You would get a hundred metres out of him in offence a week.

Like I said not something I considered until seeing the structure the team plays with this year.

Tafua is a footballer before athlete. He played full back in his junior days. Don't let what you have seen of him only on the wing in first grade sway your thinking.

Luke Lewis was a winger.

Jorge is probably my favourite Eagle so if he was to prove me wrong, I would certainly be happy to eat my words!

I am a huge fan of Bainbridge but I feel like he is more in the Jake T mould and not suited to running lines on an edge. I could be wrong, but he looks like a middle player to me.

He reminds me a lot of Eastwood. He has that unathletic athleticism. I see him as a second rower.

Jake is Taylor made for lock but only since the role changed. I love him and he is my favourite current player but fear for what might have happened to him had the interchange not been reduced and 13 become a position for a slightly more skilful front rower, rather than a wider running BK Trent Waterhouse Ashley Harrison type.

Jake is so strong he would have made a good fist of prop - his post contact metres are exceptional- but he isn't 6'5" and 125 kg. And may not have been a rep player rather than a solid club man had the game changed tactic wise to make him pretty much the perfect prototype lock forward for this day and age.

You're right; post contact metres are insane for this kid. He has really good football instincts as well and 13 allows him a little more freedom to use the ball.

It would be great if Billy turned out to be a edge forward because I think we need a good one. I like Winterstein and Sironen but I am not sure it's a premiership winning backrow. One or the other is OK but both in the one line-up is just not dynamic enough.
