The Maroons are still solid favorites (currently $1.67 with bookies) but have blown from an early short quote of $1.38.

They are in unfamiliar waters where they are faves and all the pressure is on them to perform in front of a very expectant howling mob totalling 97 IQ points. The Blues meanwhile have carefully selected on form and have the pack to dominate the play. Thurston will be the crucial player on whose Qld's hopes will depend but he won't get the time tonight.

Minichello to be a stand-out.

I'll be pissed as a tick in the eastern stand after spending a few hours in the caxton car park for anyone attending!

I couldn't care less who wins. It annoys me that maybe one of ours might get injured playing in this exhibition game like Bell was last year.

Half Time (and before the customary Cane Toad Comeback)

Jarod Hayne doesn't deserve his spot. Whoever said that a few weeks ago doesn't know football. He is almost another Inglis.

Tony Carrol - elevated to my "Can't wait 'till the **** retires" list. Scum.

It wasn't forward for Price, Hindmarsh never got it down. Boo hoo :yeah: :yeah:

Carn the BLUES!!!!!!

QLD thoroughly deserved their win. MB don't listen too much to Gould. The ref gave Hindmarsh a try as he saw it on the ground.

We didn't have enough experience to thwart the expected comeback. Murray needed some calm heads on the field, rather than on the bench.

NSW were gifted 18 points and still lost.

Hindmarsh didn't ground the ball.
Pass to Price wasn't forward.
Hayne knocked on just before half time.

You guys should've seen my dummy spit after the Towsville Hicks beat Manly.

I just don't take being beaten by the underclass too well.

I guess brains, looks, class, decency & breeding can't buy you everything.
Although it should.
