Blacktown Workers ... 2023 ..

A loss next week for Blacktown will see them miss the semis. Really congested table. Blacktown will settle into 5th this weekend unless Penrith beat ladder leader Norths by 12 or more.

Thank you @The Wheel

Panthers v Bears today. Bears win and the BWSE make 5th. Panthers win by 12 or more and they're out of finals.

Sorry still 1 round to go next week but Panthers will probably beat Parra and we play the Dogs who are 1 place behind us on the table.

Ok dont get any smart ideas loading blacktown up with our first graders, they don't devere that.

In light of blacktown on their edge, siebs please don't drop anyone this week to reserves and I guess I can wait a bit for the GCKT debut.

There's rules in place so that can't happen mate.

Watching the highlights young Humphreys pretty much ran the show even though Latu F played 1/2. Seems to have a lot of upside and I know has also played plenty of dummy half. Wonder if he is a smokey for back-up hooker next year?

The other player who constantly stands out in the highlights reel is the centre/winger Faulalo. Scores plenty of tries but never mentioned as a potential FG. Seems to have as much upside as Ray Ray.

Vaega is currently ahead in the line as he is in the top 30 squad. Maybe Faulalo will be upgraded next year, although we've already purchased Talau & Paulo.
After round 11 you can play players outside the 30.

Hence Matterson playing

Does anyone know the rules of eligibility for the reggie's finals.

I'm assuming that a player would need to have played x amount of games to qualify.

Wondering if Arffurs qualifies.. Matterson should. Woods probably doesn't

Will any player like sipley, who may need say to games play 2 more games be sent back?

Matterson was possibly promoted in response to Lawton's injury (plus Seibold's reluctance to select Samuela). If more outside backs go down, Falaulo may get a chance this year.

Unless he is injured, Sam Fainu has been punted from the Blacktown team. Yet, Latu is selected at half.
I wonder what the thinking is behind the treatment of the Bros? We seem to have adopted a "throw the baby out with the bath water" approach, hurting our chances of winning matches for spiteful reasons.
Of course, I have no idea. But I do know that Sam is a better player than some of those currently playing in our top 17.
