Nate Myles wishes he could be in the same stratosphere as Ben Kennedy.

That dude did NOT tolerate losing. He lead by example. Only a few years for Manly, but was a true champion.

BK also knew when to hang up the boots before he became a complete passanger like Myles. Myles is here for a fat pension - nothing more.
There should be some kind of rule where we shouldn't even be allowed to discuss the great BK in the same sentence as Myles.

Love your passion but you are delusional. We are in a rebuild and it's going to take 4 to 5 years......
I dont believe it will take that long cronulla & the roosters before that won it the year aftee after getting the spoon.. We had a good team on paper thats why we started equal 2nd on the betting .. Unfortunately everything went against us & our campain was over before it even started the same as the roosters this year

That's what it should take but we are manly and we have bozo (love him or hate him) ripping shreds in the side and ensuring the rebuilding phase went by quickly. Look at the side, not too much needed to rebuild. Compare 2015's team to the one just two years later in 2017, our forwards would annihilate 2015's ones.

A centre and some experience for the younger forwards is all we need. We've got some handy players coming through, especially in the forwards and we already have one of the best packs in the comp, the backline is just as good as it was in 2013 as long as some players get their **** together such as uate and taufua, we will be in a very good position with a very young side as well. I feel like (although i didn't witness the rebuild into our 'golden era') this is us growing to be the manly people my age grew up seeing. Any side to have locked up Tapau, DCE, Tom Trbojevic and Jake Trbojevic long term would be past a rebuilding phase. Now it's just time to get some experience and emotion back into the side, provided no shocking injury years come for a while we will be better then just fine, we will be manly again.

How about we make a judgement at the end of 2017

Could this be the longest off season ever?

I say ban anyone who posts 'news next week' posts and don't give a hint to claim the scoop. It's no different to a kid in a playground saying, 'Pssst, I have a secret'. But there's nothing.

Ban, and burn their house down.

Thankfully that excuse doesn't wash with most fans.Cronulla had a lot of new recruits in key positions last season. So did the Titans
Titans improved and showed courage but were in the 8 on an unlikely 27 due to the Slimey Eel cheats. They also gained key players such as Hurrell mid season.
As for the gummies, just like to point out that one of them was James Maloney who is probably worth about 10 points a game - even though he's a mofo who pulled the Wolfman's hair and is not forgiven ever!@
I suspect if we ever sign a 10 points per game player our results will change dramatically for the positive.

Manly raid Panthers flyers

I’m hearing Dean Whare is a done deal at Manly and the rich Sea Eagles are looking at a double strike on Penrith by also signing speedster Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.

With Steve Matai set to retire and Jamie Lyon already gone, the Sea Eagles are skinny on experience out wide and see the Panther pair as the answer to their problems.

Both are under contract for next season but Gus Gould has shown many times in recent years he is prepared to release players if the price is right.

Whare is one of the highest paid players on the Panthers’ roster and has been troubled by injury in recent seasons so Penrith don’t have a problem about letting him return to Manly.

The Panthers rate Watene-Zelezniak more highly, however, and Manly may struggle to lure him away from the foot of the mountains.

That'd be a miracle, however I'm banking on one. Could you imagine..

If Matai really is gonna get his medical retirement its definately possible, but unlikely, surely?! This is going to be a long off season
