To be fair, what Bolton was found guilty of is fairly minor, in the scheme of things. The wrong thing to do, sure, but something that probably wouldn’t be deemed worthy of a police complaint by many women. Me personally, I’d have probably just told him to pull his head in and be done with it, worst case maybe a (literal) slap on the wrist at the time, end of story.

He’s also at the absolute opposite end of the spectrum to Barba as far as rap sheets are concerned; I can see why there was some leniency applied.

Really with Dylan it was always going to come down to guilty or not guilty anyway. It’s a black or white result. Guilty and his NRL career is done for a long time.Even before Barba that was going to be the case.

And that’s fair enough. I love him as a player but if guilty I won’t have any issue with what the Turd hands out.

It’s not about the injuries or lack thereof though. He pulled or pushed a woman to the ground while she was holding a small baby. The same woman he was trying to intimidate during the infamous door-punching episode...there’s a DV history starting to stack up there that doesn’t bode well for the future. Couple that with the drug issue and it starts to look a wee bit Barba-like.

My question would be - if he hit a door hard enough to break his own hand because she wouldn’t let him in...what exactly do you think would’ve happened if the door wasn’t between them at that point?!
