Snakes point about the halves is spot on. More effective halves would have controlled the game better, kicked more effectively and that completely changes the dynamic of any game.
Also, you are spot on in my opinion that from the very first tackle, they looked like they wanted it more. They ran harder, played the ball faster and were more aggressive in defence from the first whistle. I commented to a mate that from the first few sets, they were playing touch footy and we were plodding.
If we had better controlling halves, we may have won the game.
If we were more enthusiastic, aggressive and matched the Panthers, we may have won the game.
A combination of both issues which ultimately led to a deflating loss.
