If the nrl and the referees association are screaming defamation and million dollar payouts (why is it always a mill? Inflation means it should be higher guys), for saying things like bias, etc,

- then where is their outcry over 'journos' saying the refs are terrified of Latrell Mitchell and show him an unconscious bias?

The Daily Telegraph’s Paul Crawley believes referees “are petrified” of Mitchell.

“I think Latrell has become such a big figurehead in the game that referees are a little bit wary with him, similar to when Cameron Smith played,” Hooper said.

“I think Latrell is such a figurehead and drawcard for our game, it is like an unconscious bias.”

I swear I have no idea why journos don't take him on when he's throwing a tantrum. Surely they can't do all their fighting in columns and not face to face, like sausage roll eating numpties?

It's painful the way he explains things.
Took him what, 10 mins to effectively say the NAS try probably shouldn't have been a try - 99% would say he lost the ball but l can understand why the bunker ruled it a try but l'm not going to throw them under the bus for it - WTF?
So they were wrong but it's okay.

Yet on the Fifita no try - he has a whinge that 99% think it should have been a try but it wasn't.
His wording of "Fogarty didn't stop.." is being pedantic and technically correct.
He didn't stop but...he tried to slow down and his initial body position and movement wasn't one of going straight to the ball in my opinion ( and many others) yet nothing to see here.

I couldn’t watch his bullshiit. I just knew he would protect Casey Badger, and old man Sutton. I really can’t decide which call was worse. Suttons or Badgers. Only an ex-politician could try and shine both turds.

Yep it's 300k, not all of them are on that but the top few are. Only know because my step son wants to be an NRL referee, I keep suggesting he get a more respectable profession like a parking ranger or speed camera car operator, but he won't listen
