I'm 100% ok in giving Jackson Hastings a go at 5/8, and we save the dollars for acquisitions down the line. I only want players who want to be here. This Green situation is all about dollars. If though, we have Pearce, I still think that's a pretty big upgrade on Green (and I'm not saying Green isn't great here, because he is).

If we don't get anyone of significance to replace Green should he end up in Auckland, then Hastings or Cullen are probably the best options we have. At least Hastings would fix our goal kicking. I can't see Baz throwing Wright in there at this stage, and besides he see's him as a centre three quarter so that would be a last resort. I'd say even Walker would be an option before Wright with either Matty Wright or Brad Parker joining Kelly in the centres.

As soon as i saw that Moses was Greens agent I knew it would become ugly. I would imagine that the issue with Pearce, other then him not really wanting to leave Roosters, is that they are trying to get maximum compensation for releasing an under contract player. They also are looking at other players as well (ok rumoured). It may be weeks before it is all set in place.
