He'd have had his clock cleaned a few times by now if he'd lived and played in any other era. All the 70's and early 80s really did was put the thuggery that went on on television which only highlighted what had already been going on for decades before.

The 70s in rugby league were really no more violent than the 60s or 50s or 40s etc. Its just that more people got to see it through television and somewhere along the line someone realised it wasn't such a great look.
