The rest of the time they contribute zip.

They sit around all week praying for a dropped ball or offside penalty so they can release their vitriolic wisdom to the masses ... the rest of the week they sit around window licking and eating their own nose pickings

I’ve been a regular on the game day threads for years , but I think I’ll be giving them a miss from here on.

Honestly I find it depressing at times , you start to see nothing but the bad things.

And as we well know , whilst we aren’t great , and aren’t premiership favourites or even semi finalists , there have been many positives through the year and whilst the negatives should be discussed ( and certainly not ignored ) dwelling 100% on the negatives is not ( in my opinion ) , kosher.

And the vitriol towards some players is idiotic at best.

Sure Lachlan Croker isn’t the best hooker in the game but he gives it his all and has improved out of sight.

And sure , Aaron Woods is well past his prime , and if it wasn’t for all the injuries possibly wouldn’t be being picked , but he’s doing his best. Hardly misses a tackle , gets it some metres upfield , but yes at his age is no longer a “ power forward “ .

And your mate Keppie ( who I’m not a huge fan of ) he’s trying his best and certainly doesn’t lack passion.

All this gets completely forgotten by the numbnut family.

Are you the sole arbiter of who is and who is not a numb nut? I think there should be a numb nut selection panel with a cross section of people from across the forum.

The Croker thing amuses me.

No one commented on the crap service Cheese was giving the Chooks last week. Lussick at the Eels was ordinary, as was Verrils and even Cook was not good.

I'll go as far as to say there is barely a decent hooker in the nrl these days.

yeah, froggy is probably my favourite manly player.
be almost first picked each week and considering his size, his workrate and his desire to use his shoulder , he is very reslliant. although i reckon he is still carrying his shoulder niggle

would love to see more kicking from him. In general play id like to see he and DCE alternate a bit. chez runs well from dummy half and his presence there would make the markers alert allowing froggy or shoe some room at first receiver. Just every now and then, allowing chez to scoot from dummy half if opportunity presents itself, where he was pretty handy early in the season

In saying that frogman has become an convenient excuse on ST which I find unfair at times.

the 2 best teams have billy walters and api. his service is a good , api has a bit more elusiveness but i feel thats overstated a fair bit.

I think you may have misinterpreted my "it's a footy forum" post.

I don't mind people on here taking a swing at my posts, lobbing pot shot at my expense, or anything else they might feel compelled to write.
