Any time over the past few years that we went into a game against Easts with no Turbo ... and with Sipley , Woods, and Bully as our props, we would be expecting a towelling.

The fact that many on here where still hoping or expecting a win, and the fact we got within 10 points shows how much we have improved in attitude this year ... last year we would have had 50 put on us easy ..

Sadly @Woodsie this forum is divided between the Des Lovers / Seibold haters and the Enough of Des let’s give someone else a crack fans.

Not sure it’s 50/50 more like 10/90 but that 10% is constantly vocal.

They hate EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY associated with the club and it’s lack of success following that move.

It really wouldn’t matter WHO the coach was ( well maybe barring Bennett / Bellamy ) they wouldn’t be happy, Seibold & Mestrov are just their shipping boys.

It’s been the underlying issue on Silvertails from the moment Des was sacked and it won’t go away as in their eyes he’s like a god.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and that’s fair enough , and our lack of success currently is fueling that massively.

But I agree , it’s getting tiring isn’t it.

As long as we are improving and competitive I don't give a **** who is coaching. I am just sick of the 10 years of having gone no where that is any good .....

I'm hoping the Brooks signing coupled with Jake getting Siebold to sign Lodge will prove a masterstroke. I think Talau and Paulo are also decent acquisitions. Nothing would make me happier than jogging along the Nepean River in my Manly cap with a smile on my face next year. As it stands, Spoony hasn't done a whole lot to fill me with confidence that he is the man to return us to the summit. If he does, then I will happily change my name to the numbnut from the west.

As for Des, he's a Titan now, so he can get farked.

Will he be successful at the Gold Coast? Time will tell.

Simply a reflection of how far the roosters have fallen from their previous high standards than how much we have improved

The roosters are now closer our standard than penrith and broncos

They are one point below us on the table whereas in previous years they would have been in the top 4 position all year

Then next two games we will be flogged and are only 50/50 chances in the last two games

We are reliving the Barrett years again
