1. I am always happy when a local kid stays at his club
2. If he came to us it had a Glenn Stewart feel to it. A player who wanted to stay at a club and was forced out - unless he had motivation and drive there is a heap of risk there

100% been saying it all year we need to spread the ball left to right and back all day. Fast, tall, agile, powerful & skilful backs will win this style of game!!!

Roosters has/had the best defence in the game with the best discipline and they were completely outplayed last night.

Also have to have your best attacking and creative players on the park to execute that type of more open and expansive footy . Knights defence [ and i only saw half the match ] however seemed as fragile and disorganized as Manly [ on many occasions this season ] and Brimson is a brilliant attacking weapon . From what i saw of South"s effort last night , they would have to be the real bench mark for playing outstanding 2020 style and game breaking footy and again they seem to have the creative and individually gifted players to make it happen . Hopefully Manly at full strength next season will be able to go to a much better and adjustment level to be a competitive force again .

The new rules changes make some of the tactics for the 9’s format really handy to cross over.
That’s the style of footy we all love to watch. The free flow attack this year has the 9’s and the Walker brothers coaching all over it : )
