Classic comedy like all culture is a product of its time, and as times change some things that at one time were considered acceptable are considered unacceptable at a later time. Eg slavery, classifying indigenous Australians to be merely fauna, etc.

No need to hide your classic 12th man collection but yes, probably needs to be seen in a different light these days.

I think he is a terrific player and could go onto being one of Manly’s greatest prop forwards.

But to make it personal against another public figure is counterproductive to his argument; is disrespectful to Erin Molan (who comes across as a smart and knowledgeable commentator); and is ultimately a disservice to both himself and our club - which does not need key players ‘going off’ with misogynistic rants on social media.

League commentators need to know Pasifika names and pronunciation, otherwise they have no business being there. Half of the nrl players are Pasifika, they are not a comical minority.

It really says it all when someone suggests the Footy Show was ruined when a female host was recruited.

The footy show was ruined by a "female". Once ch9 believed their ratings were based on how many ex players they could get to dress in drag, the end was nigh.

It had some good years... especially when Chief was on and Beau Knows gave me a giggle (for a while) but it was on a slide before Erin got there... she was just the final nail with her lack of personality, insight or humour...
