I look at it as a donation to keep the place running , Premium Membership would be another option for you.

Otherwise it’s the land of InstaTwitFace and that’s a minefield.

I've been a premium member every year except for last year when I took the season off from Silvertails and will probably sign up again for that.

There may be more competition for who comes last, not first (disclaimer, I've been in a tipping comp once....I came last...).
In a completely unrelated note, is there a prize for last place?

A prize for last place isn't a bad idea...except that a few members don't bother putting their tips in (and that's ok) but I reckon a prize should be for 'those who tried, but just had a bad year' sort of thing.

I've been in tipping comps that had a prize for 2nd last (or 3rd last) place - there was a bit of strategy in trying to be almost the worst tipster... A weekend of upsets could see plans ruined too!
