Roache on Train and Replacement contract brings squad number down to 30
Competition for 2 forward bench spots should be hotly contested you would think. I'd have Keppie the no14 and Weeks the no17.Yep, I really think so many spots are genuinely up for grabs.
Not sure if Latu can be in our top 30 squad until he turns 18 at the end of May. Although the NRL allowed Suali in early but then he does play for the Roosters, so different rules.Media consistently has both the Fainu's out of the 30.

Roosters have got Keary who i think played some junior footy with Manly.with all but four clubs - Broncos, Dolphins, Roosters & Storm
Thank you, I meant to include JWH, but forgot. I wasn't sure about Keary's background.Roosters have got Keary who i think played some junior footy with Manly.
Oh yeah, and also some 3-time premiership winning loser known as JWH!
Probably not, mostly top ups for others 😔Now that cap is sorted. Transfer market is heating up. Well finally being announced anyway. Is there one more for us yet is the question?
Ray Vaega I would have thought. He has certainly earned it. Played well in all his appearances to date.Reading that Saab out til possible May. Who will play on flank opposite Tuipolotu if Tom is fit could Weekes slot there as Garrick promised centre with koula ?
Yeah he have to be starter you think.Ray Vaega I would have thought. He has certainly earned it. Played well in all his appearances to date.
Good research and info , certainly had a good formula to get that successful run from 2007 to 2013 or so for instance . From late 60 " s to late 90 's , Manly was in a position to be one of the biggest spenders in the comp and results showed . Salary cap era , a challenge for any side to stay on top [ with a couple of exceptions and their advantages ] . Probably [ or certainly ] does not help Manly having 3 players taking up nearly one third of the cap , really good if they could all play the majority of games and regularly play to their cap related status but just has not happened to date .If Manly don't win the Grand Final this year, it will be 12 seasons in a row without a GF win. A new record for Manly's longest ever period since Manly's last GF win.
11 seasons 1997 to 2007
11 seasons 2012 to 2022
If Manly don't get to the Grand Final this year, it will be 10 seasons in a row without being in a GF. A new record for Manly's longest ever period without a GF place.
9 seasons 2014 to 2022
9 seasons 1998 to 2006
8 seasons 1960 to 1967
Logic saysIf Des was still coach, this is possibly the team he'd select for Rd One. It could be used as a base when trying to predict Anthony & Shane's selections.

In the club's entire history, no generation of Manly fans has ever gone through 10 seasons of not seeing Manly in a GF.
