Thank you fellow passionate club member and great contributor of our Legendary club @Wombat64

To keep life sparkling I use gratitude and I am thankful for all the priceless things I have in my life like Family and friends and good health and all happiness that life brings tangible and intangible and our one and only proud Wooden spoonless and unique Manly Sea eagles club is one of them

As far as Keeping a vehicle sparkling what works fo me is...
wash it every week so road grime and bird crap does not stay on the paint too long and eat away at the paint

Keep the vehicle parked under shelter and away from the sun and always park it in the shade bit not under trees because of the harmful tree sap

Do not polish because it takes away the paint . Instead wax your vehicle once a year at least

The biggest Killer of car paint is the hot sun and the acidic bird crap

The biggest Killer of a club are Negative and Fair weather supporters that walk away from it in times of adversity when their club needs them most in order to remain viable

I usually park the mower in the shed feathered friend . I left it there because it started to Rain as I finished cutting the grass

One thing for sure . Nothing stops passionate supporters from proudly becoming club members Rain hail or shine

Yes but we all know that’s because of his original name ( everyone thought it was the club account and Adolf ran it like it was ).

I was on their fb forum feathered friend . Read on ....

The fact is our club has only 10,000 passionate Manly souls who are club members and
There are over 30, 000 face book fickel fairweathered Manly supporters . Go figure !

I was accepted on their fb forum and when I let them have it and made them all accountable for our low fan membership support to our club and for being fickel fairweathered Manly supporters who are all talk and no action Simeon started arguing with me and even sent me a private message that I was over doing it with the membership push and was going on the usual pathetic excuses including blaming our club and our owners and when I did not agree with him and gave him some passionate Manly medicine I was bared without notice .

In Conclusion
These 30,000 fb fickel fairweathered Manly supporters are a Manly Army that fire blanks
Because for those that have any clue what Passion is
Understand that all the real Passionate fans only look for reasons why they should support their club (and there are plenty of them !) and also live by this moto ...

Bozo is doing an awesome job. He is just doing it in the wrong place, to the wrong people. I don't get to see his comments anymore, but I wont ever criticise his passion and enthusiasm for the club and its longterm survival. I am however, completely over reading the same stuff in different threads, every day.

I think there’s a lot more than 200 but I’d suggest no more than 200 active.

Mind you the Facebook page with 30k doesn’t mean there’s 30k active it might only be 5k but all of the popular Facebook pages are much bigger than here.

We all love it but it’s old school.

It is and those of us that have been here for years will agree with you but most have drifted away to the other forms of social media , you only have to go back and find an old thread , go through it , and then you’ll see how many have left.

Take the tipping comp , two years ago 110 joined up , last year about 60 , and whilst we haven’t kicked off yet there’s 25 for 2021.

Therein lies the story.
