That match proved how much better RL is when adjudicated by one referee. A big tick to Checcin, who is one of our least favourite refs. But he showed he does have a feel for the game, letting it flow and making quick judgement calls. Just one referral to the video ref. Three penalties. Perhaps a forward pass or two, but that is for the linesmen to check.
Let's hope the NRL swallow their pride and return the sport to one ref, to keeping the penalties down and to keeping the video ref out of the game.

Refereeing was just wonderful in comparison with NRL.Hope it continues.

This game sure hasn't lived up to my expectations. Thought Samoa would be much better opposition but their execution, particularly in the 2nd half, has been woeful...and frustrating!

Kiwis look real coherent and will make this competition more intetesting.
