How hilariously bad are Andrew Moore and the ironing board commentating in Fiji/USA game. Unless a player is called something like Rice they are seriously struggling with pronouncing names. Tigers player Kevin Ninegama?? Api's name has been pronounced about 10 different ways. Deadset hopeless

They are actually getting them pretty spot on which i was not expecting them to do. The media guide outlines the pronunciations and it really shows how the regular commentators have just never got them correct, so now we hear them proper, they sound odd.

Well have to day bloody enjoyed that day of footy. Png at home was amazing and kiwis always good to watch. Fiji got some weapons.
Sad to see the slide of welsh had cracking sides in 80s and 90s.
I say i could pick last 8 aussies, england, nz, samoa, tonga, fiji, italy only spot i can see touch and go france/lebs.
Its not the nrl but its a good gap filler. I see png as semi dark horse.
We need to start to be geniune in developing a nrl png side.
No more bloody injuries, marty very strong for kiwis. Aku good game as api.

TBH I wouldn't get carried away with how PNG or Fiji played. You have to take into account the quality of their opposition today and really, it wasn't good. I mean, well done to them for their big wins, but neither Wales nor the USA are going to pose any sort of threat in this tournament.

This tournament is just a day old and almost every side has had a major injury. They are dropping like flies.
