2017 Rugby League World Cup

i don't get it?

he's the perfect 5/8 then isn't he?
great running game, great kicking game

in this game he's a little redundant with smith really being the 2nd playmaker
What I'm saying is that Pearce would be more effective

My observations;

Really good game. The Poms were good and did not deserve to go down by the margin.

The refereeing...wow what a breath of fresh air. The game was allowed to flow. Minimal penalties. None of the ref blah blah get back your offside etc. just a great spectacle. The blueprint is right there!

Good game last night, chances were there for England but they just didn't convert them all. Tough for them as well that 2 dubious penalties against them cost 8 points in a tight match

What we learnt from the game ? That regardless of 1 ref or 2, Matt Cecchin is still a steaming pile of turd as a ref

What did Checchin do wrong? I thought he was excellent.

Must be an issue with Channel 7 as AAMIPARK signs were still up , nearly pissed myself laughing when they called it “ Melbourne Rectangular Stadium”.

Obviously the Insurance company wouldn’t pay to have their name mentioned.

Wonder if ANZ, Allianz or Suncorp have??

People saying he was great, simply because there were few penalties doesn't quite stack up for me

That penalty before Australia scored a try, did we not see that multiple times in the match go unpunished ? All of a sudden, on the 5th tackle and Australia 20m out, he blows it, huge moment in the game and Australia score of it. The penalty near the end where the 2 was taken was also an ordinary call. Only 2 penalties blown against England all game, and it cost 8 points, shows how crucial penalties are and why the need for consistency is crucial. I find it tough to believe that over 80mins there were only 3 actions worthy of a penalty, and when you're being selective when you blow them for the same scenarios, it impacts on the match

Were also multiple forward passes missed, which is standard these days

Mate, there was one pass from Australia with about 10 minutes left that was so far forward, Tom Brady could have taken pointers from it to improve his game.

The only reason Cecchin is being praised is because of the small amount of penalties he blew. That doesn't say to me he had a good game, it says he missed or deliberately ignored a hell of a lot.

Just about to watch PNG vs Wales. As much as I would love to see the Kumuls do well in this tournament, I am ¼ Welsh so for me the heart says Dragons today.

try png!

sigh....why does streaming never ever ever ever ****ing work?

buffer buffer buffer...3 seconds of game... something exciting about to happen...buffer buffer buffer.....
