It's none of my business whatsoever but i would like to know exactly how much control Willow has over the NSW cup team. I get the feeling that coaches of the lower grades at the Sea Eagles don't have as much control as everyone thinks. Kinda like a "these are the players we have for you, these are the players we want to develop and this is the structure we want you to go with" type scenario. It makes perfect sense to me that you would have a few players in the NSW cup side and a few in the u/20's side you would want to develop and the rest would just be making up the numbers.

The only weak link in our club at the moment seems to be Willo's lack of coaching ability.

We desperately need a decent NSw cup coach next year to nuture the talent that we have. 54-0 and 60-6 score lines are unacceptable to this club..

What does winning the NSW Cup really mean - nothing.

We need a core of 25 players in our NRL squad and the 17 are starting leaving 8 if no injures. Hopefully if they fix up the second tier contracts then you can plan a full team but now you put your NRL 8 players with players you hope will step up like Hasson has this year.

TBH NSW Cup is a nothing comp and is the waiting room for injured players.

Means our topline players become complacent if they don't have players pushing them in my opinion.

What I mean players get too comfortable, knowing full well they'll get selected next week.

It should be like this : if player a at a club has 3 poor weeks meanwhile player b in the reserve grade team is killing it - I'd have the player in form over the one out of form.

Ego's are fragile things. He has the right to feel disapponted if he wants too. Personally I'll miss him. He's one of our great characters.
