    The NRL should ensure all penalties and six again calls are accurately communicated to fans in real time to ensure accountability. The ref should verbally communicate the reason and an NRL official should be forwarding the decision in real time to the broadcasters.

    Even if the speed and direction of the passer can be accurately measured, which would be difficult given micro variations of the player and/or ball, AND the relative vector (which may be easier to measure), there will still be huge variations in how forward a pass seems depending on pass...

    Stat Attack: Saab sizzles to challenge Foxx for fastest man title According to nrl tracker he already beat the fox's fastest time from last year this weekend gone. I saw him motoring from the other side of the paddock chasing down the intercept.

    I've noticed replays are the exception not the rule including for the numerous contentious calls in the first two games. No accountability.
