Zorba Peters won't follow Bozo until the end of the 2018 season

This thread is entirely negative about Zorba. I get that majority of people on here dislike him. I guess he is fairly easy to dislike, he's fat, kind of curious looking, he had a pop at us messageboard fans (god forbid he stand up for the club) - that stuff appeals to every hate bone in a superficial human mind..

Id just like to throw this out there to the dozens of haters here (and i am neither for him or against him - im somewhat of a fence sitter re him). Do you guys actually see first hand the good things he does for Manly and our players that wear the jerseys? Or the bad things for that matter?

It would just be nice if some could have more of an open mind on him. Its really tiring and kind of lame to see the constant heckling of a guy who has basically dedicated his life to the club and done many many good things for it that none of us see. There would not be many more passionate club people around than Zorba. And he loves the players like sons, this i have seen first hand (like in the same room as them kind of thing).

Im sure the fruit will be thrown at me for presenting a view other than putting him down. But it needed to be said

Like him or loath him the Manly premiership winning Icon was resilient on the field and is resilient off the field.
Like all of us Zorba has his good and bad points .
Like all of us Zorba loves the mighty Sea eagles !!!

Please avoid likening ZTC to any of us pure mortals, he can sit on his own pedestal.

The guy reminds me of a bad used car salesman on Parramatta road in the 80's. Most of them are gone now, time he joined them.

If he wants a job, I'm sure he could get one as the clubs "Buddah" mascot. No need to tap the sign, just rub the belly.

Like all of us who have made some contribution to life , Zorba must be given credit for his dedicated work for the Manly club .
What are you good at apart from Slagging a Premiership winning Sea eagle ?

Well, certainly not putting up with your dribble for a start.

And secondly, back on ZTC, I don't represent Manly to the public like ZTC does.
I find his representation distasteful and archaic.

If all you can do is repeat dedicated work, then I guess you have no good points to see him continue in his role either?

If I rested at work saying I worked hard for the team 40 years ago, then hung around checking out sheilas, I probably would need to be related to the owners in some way to justify myself.

BOZO had the good sense to quit while he was ahead. Respect for that.
Just a shame pie boy sticks around looking for a new fridge.

Sorry eagleflys. I'm in the gym on the treadmill atm and accidentally bumped the ironstone rating. It ain't easy messageboarding and jogging at the same time. Unintentional
