DCE killing all of the attack on the right hand side. Crichton killing most of the attack on the left-hand side.
The difference between Munster and DCE is staggering.
Cleary Who himself doesn’t have a good passing game is infinitely better than Rusty Anchor DCE

I'm surprised @BOZO isn't online and accusing Cotter of quitting.
Cotter failed his concussion test and is out of the game

Quitters fail the resilient character test and walk out on the game

There is a difference feathered friend

In our 75 Turbulent Manly years Manky is here to stay
because all the resilient Manly souls never walked away

Good morning @BOZO I wouldn't be too worried about ANY rusted on Manly fans quitting the club mate. However, it is their choice if they do. Such is life.

Good morning feathered friend and Manly Family

All of us are part of the Manky family and it breaks my heart that some are thinking of walking away from our Manly Family

Every family in this world has members that do not get on with each other
If walking away from the family was the only answer there would be no families left in this world

The moral of the Manly family story
THE MANLY FAMILY IS LIKE BRANCHES ON A TREE
WE MAY GROW IN DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS
BUT OUR ROOTS ARE ALL AS ONE AS IN OUR LEGENDARY CLUB
THAT HAS ALWAYS PREVAILED SINCE 1947

Sounds like Ant has a massive job ahead of him if the form and fitness of Aloiai, DCE , Jake is any guide.

You may find he won’t accept it and benches them , something De$ would never do.

And if they don’t improve after a few weeks on the sideline , they’ll be shipped out at years end or half way through.

If I was the coach that’s what I’d do.

Captain or not !!

I’ve been a dce fan since day 1..
Defend him (and his contract) on here all the time…
But f$&k me, he is dead set average in rep teams isn’t he!!

He was brilliant for qld in game 3, and I’m sure there’s a game here or there where he plays well, but since the start of his rep career he really has always just been average..

At first I put it down to him not being the in qld “boys club”
Always just put in origin to shovel the ball to jt, or Cronk, or let smith control the team, never really did anything but be a link between the stars… I guess that’s what they wanted..

But since he’s taken over, he still gets over shadowed by the likes of hunt, Munster, now grant…. He’s almost always the weakest link out of those guys except a few rare occasions…

Today he was very, very average.. wasn’t “bad”, but next to Munster and grant, him and hunt didn’t look like they belonged..

Maybe I’ve been wrong all these years, who knows.. maybe the bloke isn’t that good???

Congratulations to the Roosters on securing their new winger for 2024... Dominic is contracted until the end of 2023 at the Knights meaning he can negotiate from 1 November 2022 for 2024 (I still shake my head at this ridiculous "rule") and perhaps the reporter has let the cat out of the bag... or it's an honest mistake... 😆 😂

Not sure if it was the game plan or not but Munster got twice as much ball as DCE did.
Was it the game plan to go to Mitchell and Addo Carr's side over Holmes and Tualagi ( he hardly touched the ball) or is it that dummy half can only pass to the left?
It seemed like everything went left to Munsters side, even the Pommy commentators mentioned it a few times that DCE seemed frustrated that the ball kept going back to the left when things were opening up on the right.

It's not like he could say f$&k this I'm going over to the left to get some decent ball.

Just finished watching replay Aus vs Fiji and whilst Munster was MOM, imo Harry Grant was just as good...what a game on his debut. As others said on here, wish we had a 'Harry Grant' at Manly.

As for Samoa vs Eng, I agree with others that Samoa was surprisingly poor. Thought it was a fairly strong side and they'd get over England but how wrong I was. Good to see Luai, To'o and Crichton on the other side of a flogging.

Maybe they just don’t have any faith in dce??? It’s the same at origin level, dce was basically non existent in game 1 of origin… touched the ball here and there but all the plays went to Munster… maybe that’s just the way they have been taught to play.. give it to Munster unless absolutely necessary to go the other way???

I actually noticed it in origin too. I think particularly with Ben hunt at dummy half he seems to favour going to Munster. And then you get Tedesco roaming who never passes the ball which I noticed he would avoid passing to turbo during origin all that much. Could be that there is a bit of a vested interest by players to prefer to give the ball to players they don’t feel they are in direct competition with.
