4 sets on the fiji line for no result.
get another crack now

Fiji waste a challenge

Latrell pushes a pass and loses the ball (aust seem to be impatient)

Aust score through Nanai (who).

Nice to see Jake running straight and hard.

Pommy commentators giving dce a wrap

Boos throughout the pro Fiji crowd and it's 6-4 Aust

Kikai (?) the plonker gives away a penalty...another 10 for back chat...

1 on 1 strip gives aust the ball

aust claim a try - the ref is 20 centimetres away but goes to the vidiot ref (all refs seem to do this v aust)

and ref rules no try...!

set restart for fiji.
on the 50 metre line now
kick rebounds off the post - teddy gathers. 2 passes later..

J.A.C. runs the length of the field for a try!

crikey... I forget how fast he is.

12-4

and this numbering system does suck the big one

edit - I seem to be losing my totally legit footy stream

Once JAC got past the fullback, he kicked in a way reminiscent of how Frog Eyes Gartner used to when he needed an extra gear.

Crighton (sp) scores down the left edge via Munster and Latrell being a decoy = 3 players went to mark him in fear.

it's raining and it's raining boos but Holmes converts and it is 18-4.

commentators remind us that holmes wasn't a "kicker in the nfl"

This is the first test that Australia has actually played at Headingley since the 3rd Ashes test of the 1982 Kangaroo Tour. We beat Great Britain 32–8 that day.

Like Jake and DCE today, there were Manly players in that side that November day. John Ribot (wing), Les Boyd (prop), Max Krilich (hooker and captain), Paul McCabe (2nd Row) and Ray Brown (bench). Plus of course Frank Stanton was coach, though he was at Balmain at the time I think.

Mal Meninga was in the centres that day. He toe poked his way to 7/10 in windy conditions and not all were Dead Eye Dick in front.

I didn't realise how explosive Harry Grant is. Imagine Lachlan Croker in this. He literally couldn't keep up.
