Nasty elbow dislocation for Manly forward Haumole Olakau'atu. If clean dislocation can actually be as quick a return as 3-4 weeks, but concern for significant ligament damage and/or fracture here which would be 6+ weeks recovery.

I have always rated Sipley. Always a handful, was great off the bench for Manly prior to arm break. Massive leg drive and stands in tackles. Saddler is a goer and Quac selection should be a no brainer. 113 kilo weapon. Hope injury not too serious

Today’s game showed Schuster is not ready just yet to being in the halves for first grade. Bench spot is his best option at the moment.

Cust on the other hand has to start at 9.

Harper and Funa defensively sound on the right edge. Not sure if Harper could play left edge but Funa we know can play either side.

Not sure I agree. He debuted last year and killed it. One quiet game in a great team performance means little. There are five blokes we could sack forever after yesterday and he would do a better job.than all of them.

Selecting them would be spoiling his reputation.

Don't think he was disinterested, just took a back step to the other play makers who were getting the job done with the pack. Not a bad thing, at least didn't try to over play his hand.

I hope he can accept our heartfelt apologies that the actual game may have distracted the viewers from his individual performance.
