Well Little Willie wasn't really renowned for his tackling ability. I tend to think he probably spent more time with defensive coaches then most NRL players. His resume probably wrote it self.....

(Let's give him a go. Penna and Paul Green werent much better, and are very good coaches). Good players make bad coaches.

Why is everyone under the impression he'll be a defensive coach because Seibold was and is apparently out the door?

From memory Georgalis nor Penna were specifically defensive coaches, however I could certainly be wrong.

It isn't going to happen under the current club ownership but if we were ever going to have a halfback as a defensive coach (what next, front rowers as halves coaches?)......then the club should look no further than.....
