This is yet more proof of how fcuked the Parrmatta Eels are. No doubt Des will make Hoppa a champion again. Des usually doesn't buy duds. ( T. rex and Chris Bailey aside). Des knows the eels are an absolute graveyard for players.

If I was Peta Hiku I wouldn't be going anywhere near Parra no matter what they offered.

Young Hoppa has never been the same player as he was in 2011. Parramatta is a dead loss and players struggle under their toxic environment, going to the dogs will be better for him and I do not get why the dogs would let Lafai go as he is one for the future.

Hoppa wasn't ever a speedster, but was a big metre eater and try scorer on the wing for Manly. Methinks Des will help him recapture much of his pre-Morman, pre-Parra form. But then, he won't be playing outside of Lyon. Not worth anywhere near $700k.
