Plenty of areas within the stadium to get a drink. Service is quick, the slowest I seen was when Jarryd Hayne made his comeback and there were about 25,000
As for bars outside, no such luck. Robina Stadium is a bit isolated, the nearest place to get a dink outside the stadium would be the Malt House at Robina Town Centre.
We are going on a group of 8 under 4 - 'Family' passes.
Up here, for some reason, a 'Family' is One Adult and One Child
Cheers
Hmmm.....always thought family was 2 adults and 2 children
Can only be 1 of 2 things mate -
* Most families in the area are split up so its single parents ? :wondering:
* To make 1 family pay twice ? :fubar: Most likely this....

Can you be a little more specific Jethro ?
If you are at the game, then it probably wouldn't be too hard to work out the specifics yourself. :)

Once upon a time here on Silvertails, we used to all share where we were sitting at the game.

Is it just me .... b ut whenever I hear of a bunch of Silvertails planning to get together for a quite drink before a game .... my immediate thought is .. this sounds like an intro to a "what could possibly go wrong" episode ...

PSS ... or a story line for Seinfeld ..

Depends...are you a Marine Biologist?

To clear it up a family pass is 2 adults and two kids but they also have a special kids go free ticket which means each adult can take a kid for free which works out better than family pass. This is great idea and helps if there is an odd number of adults. Should be more of it in Sydney.

My brother, his wife and I are taking three kids using 3 kids go free tickets in good seats on quarterline and it works out as 17 bucks each for six people which is great value.

Re bars nearby it’s a dead zone.Elephants go to die out there.

Best go is to have a few at new sports bar at casino which is great and share a Uber to game. Private cars can’t get within a few k without a residents pass. After that return to said casino and if you are single hit the Atrium bar. If you can’t jag a lovely lady there after an Eagles victory you need to hand in your ticket.
Enjoy.

I remember the Atrium bar well.

Errr... *hands in Ticket* :(

I preferred the one above it. (If it still exists) Drinks were only $1 extra... came with free peanuts (munchies ftw) and waitresses.

I like waitresses.

Yes I do.

We had the blueprints for Jupiters somewhere for awhile. Dunno where they are now.

*normal transmission can resume*

Wow, Spewing!
Ticketek never gave us the option of kids go free tickets when you click on how many juniors are attending.
anyway, worked out to be $25 a ticket with 10 of us going, (4 x Sea Eagles 5 x Titans and a Rooster!!!) in aisle 20/
Ah well, don't care, as long as we have a good game.
Would love to link up with all at the Cassie after but have to attend missus cousins 50th in Burleigh afterwards. The least I can do considering they are coming to the game!
Sue's comments on night clubs are spot on!, The Cassie is good, personally, I used to prefer the smaller venues like Howl of the Moon before it shut down at Broadie.
Cheers

Super day. I parked at Varsity station and caught the train to Robina. I was taken back by the sea of maroon and white just at the station, let alone the game. Was very much like a home game. Easy venue to get to, nice stadium, good view of the game. Great to enjoy the game with @maxta and briefly meet @Sue post match. Terrific first half with the result locked away. Pretty sloppy 2nd half. I honestly expected a cricket score. But hey, thank you refs (tongue in cheek), thank you ballboys, and thank you for the 2 points in the bag with the bye next week. Happy days!

I parked at Varsity station and caught the train to Robina too. I like everytime they beat the drum and started chanting TITANS TITANS they were drowned out by a MANLY MANLY
