The broncos suffered when Wayne left. Ivan Henjack and the Griffin saw the once proud club flounder and go backwards on and off the field.

When Wayne went back to Brisbane he turned the club around. Not only on the field but off it.
Between the massive increases in memberships, sponsorships and merch their turnover increased by $20,000,000!
If Tooves was bought back in there is NO DOUBT we would see memberships double, ticket sales go up and even merch sales go up. We would be more attractive to sponsors also.
AND we would be Manly again.

WAYNE Bennett’s second coming has helped drive a 16 per cent increase in Broncos memberships, with the club setting a record target of $10 million in sponsorships.
One of Bennett’s secondary attractions to the Broncos board in their decision to bring back the seven-time premiership coach was his perennial appeal to corporate Brisbane.
“We have an ambitious target for our sponsorships to push beyond the $10 million for the first time. Last year was our best performance ever,’’ said Broncos CEO Paul White.
