Yes, at this stage Penrith will go undefeated this year until they lose a game.
yeah.....looking back if i hadnt written it, i would be too in this cliche dominated worldGood post (except I got confused at the bit about putting teams down on a pedestal - but happy to go with the vibe) 🙂
They will during SOO but it might be the only time.Yes, at this stage Penrith will go undefeated this year until they lose a game.
It is always interesting how players bounce back post state of oThey will during SOO but it might be the only time.
Winning and losing are pointless stats? News to me. Maybe Yoda as been on the happy gas @Woodsie ? Haha
At this point it is actually believable that they could... they have played poorly a couple of times so far yet still looked a class above...Yes, at this stage Penrith will go undefeated this year until they lose a game.
Aren’t you arguing that wins are pointless when they aren’t against teams you consider good enough ?
“We haven’t beaten a top 4 side for years”
When we beat Parramatta early last year they were running 3rd, and still top 4 when we beat them late in the year I think. If we didn’t beat them, they would have been top 4, not us, and the stat is irrelevant
“We haven’t beaten a top 8 side all year”
Newcastle were in the top 8 when we beat them
I think when anyone talks about beating a top whatever team, they base it of where they finish to end the season (or project to finish in the season).
Example, as it stands right now: You could probably use Penrith / Melbourne, but the other two are up in the air, but out of Cronulla, South Sydney, and Chooks maybe ?
