Watmough insurance claim rejected

And to think Choc deceived Parra with the most devilish of disguises, they had no idea who he was - here's how it went down

Steve "Not So" Sharp : "Your name seems familiar, you're not that Anthony Watmough [pron - what mo] from our arch enemy the Manly Sea Eagles are you ?? You know that busted up warrior who is running on one leg and would never be seen dead in a Parra jersey"

Choc : "No way, I'm Anthony Watmough [pron - wat mao], young, fit, up and comer, ready to deliver for the mighty Blue and Golds. Do I look like that other old guy from Manly ?"

Steve "Not So" Sharp: " Yeh, you're right, no wrinkles there. Ok sign here. Welcome aboard. By the way you don't know any good 5/8's do you ?"

Anthony Watmough and Parramatta Eels headed for $1.2 million legal showdown over injury payout
OCTOBER 7, 201610:44AM

ANTHONY Watmough and the Parramatta Eels are headed for a $1.2 million legal showdown, with the former Test forward prepared to return to pre-season training in order to receive his promised career-ending injury payout.

Watmough was in shock this week when he discovered Parramatta is attempting to operate outside the Collective Bargaining Agreement by offering him a reduced figure, ‘significantly less’ than the value of his $1.2 million contract.

Watmough was forced into premature retirement this season with a debilitating knee injury, just 12 months into his four-year deal, worth around $750,000 a season, with the Eels.
